2. Cut out the red felt in the same size and shape for both sides of the cardboard. After that, you will need to grab your cardboard and glue the red felt onto it.
3. After your Santa hat is shaped and covered with red felt. The next thing you will need to do is add the white pom pom or you can use a cotton ball to the top of the santa hat.
4. Next, trace the child’s handprint on the green foam sheet. After that, either you or if the child is old enough will then need to cut the handprint out of the green sheet. This part is always so cute!
5. After that use the fine tip black marker and write the child’s name and year on the ornament.
TIP: We love adding names and years to our ornaments. It helps me as a mom to remember which child made the ornament and how old they were at the time. Plus, it’s special for the kids too.
6. Finish your craft by gluing the handprint to the Santa hat. Then, You will need to take a piece of the green ribbon to put on the back of the ornament for you to be able to hang it on the tree.
